High School Department
Students are immersed in an English environment and learn the language naturally through daily encounters and living. American Academy School (AAS) provides a comprehensive, well-balanced program and all classes are conducted in English.
The school has curriculum programs which are directed towards creating a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. It uses innovative techniques to enhance lifelong learning through technology, the multiple intelligences, varied instructional strategies, and interdisciplinary units. The learning results are then implemented into the cultural background to nurture growth, responsibility, and productivity by celebrating our diversity within a positive school-wide atmosphere and by promoting sportsmanship, school spirit, and pride through our daily studies and our educational accomplishments.

The level of instruction at this stage of education in A.A.S. is very delicate as the student undergoes many changes around them. To cater to their needs and to adapt to their behavior patterns we believe that education is a journey, not a destination. The values of honesty, respect, gratitude, compassion and responsibility are reinforced in this level. We at A.A.S. believe that education is a shared responsibility among the student, family, school, and community. Our learning results contain the very essence of this feature.
